You’ll learn how I break down a cover-up from the start: reading the skin, choosing the right concept, avoiding common mistakes, and making decisions that matter while you’re tattooing. I will also be talking about what equipment and processes to use during the session to ensure the best possible results.

Online seminar
The online seminar is a two-day live class designed for artists who want access to Reyes’ cover-up process without traveling.
Day one is a live teaching session where Reyes breaks down everything he knows about cover-ups — how to assess tattoos, plan corrections, avoid common mistakes, and make informed decisions before and during a tattoo.
Day two is a live tattoo demonstration, streamed in real time, showing how those concepts are applied during an actual cover-up.
After the seminar, attendees have ongoing access to Reyes for questions related to future projects, concepts, and planning, making this a strong option for artists looking for continued guidance.
Group seminar
The group seminar is a two-day in-person experience built around learning, observing, and applying cover-up techniques in a structured setting.
Day one focuses on the fundamentals of cover-up work — evaluation, planning, concept selection, and execution. Reyes walks through his full thought process so you understand not just what to do, but why decisions are made.
On day two, you’ll watch a live cover-up being executed while following along on provided fake skin using the same concepts. Supplies and materials are included so you can practice in real time and leave with a better understanding of proper technique and workflow.
This seminar is ideal for artists who want structured learning in a group environment while still getting hands-on experience.

This is a two-day private intensive designed for artists who want hands-on guidance with real cover-up projects.
Day one is focused entirely on understanding cover-ups at a deeper level — how to assess existing tattoos, read the skin, choose workable concepts, recognize red flags, and know when a project should be turned down. Every decision is broken down clearly, with real-world examples.
On day two, you’ll bring your own client and be coached through the entire cover-up process from start to finish. The goal is for you to leave knowing exactly how to approach future cover-ups with confidence and clarity.
This seminar is intentionally limited and scheduled personally after booking to allow flexibility for out-of-state artists.
